Janet Macías is a Mexican-American interdisciplinary artist born and raised in East Los Angeles, California. She is currently pursuing a BFA from Cal Poly Humboldt. Macias’s interdisciplinary practice centers on playful experimentation that intersects between ceramics, sculpture, and painting. Her ceramic sculptures have been exhibited at the Vincent Price Art Museum, The Mexican Center for Culture and Cinematic Arts and the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art.
